The Shopping Centre is, as the name describes, a shopping centre. It is filled to the brim with items that can be purchased by the player. It is located on High Street.

Accessing the Shopping Centre after closing times is considered a crime.

There are two floors to the Shopping Centre, with an additional rooftop floor. Each floor sports it's own unique facilities available to the player.

First Floor

"You are on the main floor of the shopping centre. It's crowded with shoppers."

Hairdressers

"You are in the hairdressers. Here you can have your hair cut or dyed. There's a seat available."

The Hairdressers allows the player to change their hairstyle.

A hair cut costs £30, and a fringe trim costs £30. Each action takes fifteen in-game minutes.

The player can get their sides and fringe cut to their:

Sides:

  • Ears
  • Chin
  • Shoulders
  • Upper chest
  • Middle chest
  • Upper stomach
  • Navel
  • Thighs
  • Knees
  • Ankles

Fringe:

  • Long
  • Very long

Additionally, the player has a variety of colour options if they want to dye their hair.

  • Full head hair colouring (£60, 30 minutes)
  • Fringe or sides colouring (£50, 30 minutes)
  • Two-tone hair colouring (£250, 30 minutes)
    • There are four available styles: Low Ombré, High Ombré, Split, and Face-framing highlights.
  • Eyebrows colouring (£20, 20 minutes)

Additionally, the player can buy hair gel for £8. They can use it in the hairstyle section when viewing a mirror. Using it will stop the player's hair from ruffling.

For more information on hair colours, hairstyles and their appearance, visit this page: Appearance

At night the player can break into this area, and steal cash from a cash register.

Pet Shop

"You are in the pet shop. A handful of the small animals turn to look in your direction. They all look cute but you doubt Bailey will let you keep any."

The first time the player enters the pet shop each day, the player's actions and the reactions they get will depend on their Bestiality fame.

  • At low fame (0-199 points), the player will pet some of the cats and dogs in the shop (- Stress)
  • At Known fame (200-399 points), the shopkeepers will keep an eye on the player every time they get close to the animals. The player isn't sure why
  • At Recognised fame (400-599 points), one of the workers will follow the player's every step. The player is unable to shake them (+ Stress)
  • At Famous or above (600+ points), an employee with a nametag will confront the player as soon as they walk into the store. They politely, but firmly claim to be responsible for the animals and don't want the player touching them. They ask the player to leave if they aren't there to buy something (++ Stress)

The purpose behind this area is detailed here: Parasitic Pregnancy

Another purpose for this area is allowing the player to buy dog treats, once Alex's Farm is unlocked. Costing £1 per treat.

If the player has given birth to wolf pups, they can buy wolf chew toys and store the toys in wolf pup's den for their wolf pups. The player can carry five toys at a time.

Wolf Chew Toys (£15 each): Chew Bone | Chew Ball | Squeaky Sheep | Squeaky Chicken | Rope

Fish Tanks

The player can upgrade their tank capacity here.

  • Tiny: The default fish tank size. The player will start out with this. Holds only 1 parasite
  • Small: Costs £200. Holds up to 2 parasites
  • Regular: Costs £500. Holds up to 3 parasites. This and any tank after are unavailable until the player has the Anal Mother trait
  • Large: Costs £1000. Holds up to 4 parasites
  • Huge: Costs £5000. Holds up to 5 parasites. This is the best tank currently available.

Fish Tank Accessories

The player can also buy an automatic feeder for their parasites. This extends the amount of days the player can leave them alone without the parasites dying. The player is unable to purchase any of these until they have the Anal Mother trait

  • Small: Costs £500. Allows the player to go 7 days without interacting with the fish tank
  • Regular: Costs £1500. Allows the player to go 14 days without interacting with the fish tank
  • Large: Costs £7500. Allows the player to go 30 days without interacting with the fish tank

The player can also buy decorations. These increase the value of stat changes when the player checks on their parasites.

  • Standard Decoration: Costs £5000. Increases the values by 125%
  • Exotic Decoration: Costs £15000. Increases the values by 150%

Once the player has birthed 4 different types of parasites, they are also able to purchase a Parasite Notebook (£20) to record the varying types of births they have. This is essential to getting the Broodmother Zoologist feat.

Tattoo Parlour

The tattoo parlour allows the player to voluntarily get any body part tattooed. It offers two services - one where the player can choose a tattoo from what the parlour offers and one where the player can turn their bodywriting (any at all) into a tattoo. Getting voluntary tattoos increases control significantly. Getting a tattoo costs £500 and takes one in-game hour. For more details about tattoos, refer to Tattoos.

At night, a player with a D in Skulduggery can break in and steal from the cash register.

Furniture Shop

"You are in the furniture shop. Most of its stock is too large for your room."

The furniture shop allows the player to upgrade their room in the Orphanage. The mass majority of the stock in this shop is currently cosmetic only, but purchasing a new bed or a new wardrobe will offer improvements to the player's life. The shop is split into 2 categories: the catalogue, where the player can buy furniture, and paperhangings, where the player can purchase wallpapers and posters.

Note: The player can only have one of each category of furniture in their room at a time. Purchasing, for example, the single bed after buying the deluxe bed will return the deluxe bed to the store. Buying a pre-made poster after buying a custom one will remove the custom. The player will not be refunded for their first purchase, so caution is advised.

Wallhangings - These are cosmetic only and will change the flavour text whenever the player enters their room. Only one version of wallpaper and poster will be displayed in the player's room at a time, and they are automatically replaced when the player makes the purchase.

If the player sneaks in the furniture store at night, they can steal wallpapers and posters from the paperhangings section, but custom designs will not be available at night. With a D in Skulduggery, they can also steal from the cash register.

Second Floor

"You are on the top level of the shopping centre. It's not so busy up here, but you can hear a throng on the level below."

Clothing Shop

"You are in the clothing shop. It has a large selection of ordinary clothes, but you'll need to go elsewhere if you're looking for something exotic."

The clothing shop serves as the player's main source of clothing. The clothing offered here is listed below:

For more information about clothes, visit the page Clothing.

Automatic Clothing Rebuy

The player can enable automatic clothing rebuy, which is described as activating "chips" in all your clothing. When damaged beyond repair, the player will be issued replacement clothing into their wardrobe. The cost is the price of the garment, but the downside is an additional 50% service fee the player has to pay for shipping. If the player lacks the money, they will be unable to obtain the replacements. Cash is deducted immediately upon receiving the prompt "your [clothing] signals for a replacement."

Tailor

"You are in the tailor shop. It has cloth of various colours hanging on racks."

The tailor shop is where the player can have their clothing fixed. A prompt states how the tailor is known for the ability to fix "even the most tattered clothing" as well as offering to repair the lower half of outfits for free.

The offer the tailor gives to the player depends on the price/durability of the player's clothing (to be checked). For example, a tattered sundress will cost much less to fix than a tattered ballgown.

Having clothing fixed takes ten minutes of in-game time to complete.

Cosmetics Shop

"You are in the cosmetics store. Several shelvings stand before you, filled with all kinds of colourful tubes, jars and boxes."

The player may buy makeup here for cosmetic reasons or to increase their beauty. Makeup also slightly increases allure. Makeup options can be accessed when viewing a mirror.

Makeups the player can buy includes:

  • (£10, 20 uses) Lipsticks: red | blue | green | purple | orange | lime | pink | light pink | dark red | black
  • (£15, 20 uses) Eyeshadows: red | pink | light pink | green | light green | blue | light blue | purple | orange | yellow | brown | light brown | dark brown | black | white | silver
  • (£15, 20 uses) Mascaras: black | black (waterproof)
    • Normal mascara will run if the player is crying, waterproof ones will not.
  • (£10, single use) Hair dyes: has the same options as hair colouring in Hairdressers.
    • The player can dye their eyebrows when viewing a mirror.
    • If pubic hair growth is enabled, they can dye their pubic hair in a bathroom.
    • They still need to visit the Hairdressers to dye their hair.

Toy Store

"You are in the toy store. From floor to ceiling stand before you toys of all kinds, many in their own boxes, others ready to be played with. (If the player has given birth to human children) You can't help but think about your children when being in here."

If the player has given birth to human children, they can buy toys and store them in nurseries for their children to play with. The player can carry five toys at a time.

  • (£10 each) Baby rattles: Pink | Blue | Green | Red | Yellow
  • (£15 each) Toy cars: Pink mini | Blue race car | Green race car | Hot rod | Limousine
  • (£5 each) Dummies: Pink | Blue | Green | Red | Yellow | White | See through
  • (£40 each) Teddy bears: Teddy bear | Mr Teddy | Mrs Teddy | Clown | Green Robot | Red Robot | Baby Doll

When entering the toy store at daytime, there is a 0.5% chance of spotting a kid zooming around in a vrelcar (- - Trauma). This is available once per day.

Rooftop

"You are on the rooftop of a commercial building. You can access the shopping centre from here. Buildings are closely packed, crossing between them should be no problem."

From up here, the player is able to climb down a ladder, or re-enter the shopping centre. Climbing down the ladder leads them into the Commercial Alleyways. If the player has “Wings” trait (available to Angel, Fallen Angel, Demon, or Harpy transformation), they can choose to glide down instead, which decreases chance of harassment.

The player is able to take a small waist apron from a shopping cart if they find themselves in a state of undress.
