Robin's Halloween is one of few event questlines tied to festivities - unique events within Degrees of Lewdity that takes place within a specific date and time (October 31st) and will not be encountered otherwise.

Robin plays a central role in the Halloween festivities that take place within the town, and is the first to play a part in the overarching Halloween questline.

See the others here:

Synopsis

Robin will be going trick-or-treating with the other orphans on Halloween. Go shopping for a costume, and meet them at the orphanage's main hall on the day of the festivity.

Prerequisites

There are two phases to this event, both of which take place at separate times. Both phases will be unavailable if Robin is missing (see Robin's Quest).

  1. Costume Shopping - The player must visit Robin in their bedroom between the 21st and 31st of October. The player won't be able to go shopping with Robin if they've already gone for a walk with them that day. Additionally, Robin's Trauma must be below 80%.*
    • Note: The option to take Robin costume shopping will not appear until Robin talks with the player about their Halloween costume (the scene in question is detailed below in the "Walkthrough" section). This scene will not take place if Robin's Trauma is above 40%.
  2. Trick-or-Treating - The player must find Robin in the main hall of the orphanage between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM.

Note that missing out on the costume shopping phase will not make the trick-or-treating phase inaccessible.

Walkthrough

At some point when they are available in their room, be sure to check on them - preferably done after the school period is over - after the 21st of October, the event will begin. Robin will inform the player that it's almost time, surprising the player with their own Halloween costume. They grab their bed blanket, hurling it over their head - claiming to be a "ghost."

The player will then notice of an open magazine besides them, advertising more impressive costumes - but these are pricey. Robin seems to have circled some they've taken interest in already with a pen. Robin then tells the player that they want to take some of the orphans trick-or-treating on the day of Halloween (31st of October) and invites the player.

They continue by saying they want to leave between 4:00PM and come back at 7:00PM. According to Robin, the orphans "shouldn't be out late."

Halloween Shopping

After the initial event is done, the player has a new option to go shopping for Halloween costumes when asking Robin on going somewhere together.

The player and Robin head over to High Street. Robin rushes ahead of the player, knowing exactly where to finish. When the player catches up, Robin's hands and nose will be seen hard pressed against a shop window. The player notices they look disappointed, with Robin stating the costumes are sold out. Their frown vanishes quickly however as they tell the player they know another shop before rushing off once more.

A trip to one shop after the other will have the player discover that everything related to festivities out of stock, leaving the player and Robin empty-handed. Robin grows impatient, entering one to ask the shopkeeper directly for why this is the case. The shopkeeper behind the counter apologises to them, claiming they got "snapped up" as soon as the costumes were put out, even at charged premium prices. They go on to say that is because of the tourists flooding in and buying them. The player and Robin leave the shop, crestfallen. At this point, the player can either apologise or encourage Robin. If the player apologises, they will apologise not finding anything. If the player chooses to encourage Robin, they will remain helpful and say that there must be costumes in stocks somewhere.

Regardless of the player's choice, a witch hat blowing in the wind will interrupt Robin's response, hitting their face. Robin pulls it off, staring at it with a blank expression. The player looks in the direction it came from, and spots a person with mousy hair walking in the opposite direction carrying a large box, with the lid being ajar. With each step, another witch hat falls out of the box, causing Robin to give chase to the mysterious person, with the player tagging close behind.

The pair tail the boy to a shop within the forest. At this point, the Forest Shop introduction will begin if it has not happened already. The player meets Gwylan as they would when entering the shop for the first time, although unlike their initial introduction, Robin will be present as well. They hold out the dropped witch hat, handing it to Gwylan. Gwylan goes on to say they have picked up some new clothes, leading Robin to think that they are Halloween costumes. Gwylan says they could be "worn as such" and directs Robin over to behind a dark screen. Robin rushes over to the costumes on display, admiring two different authentic outfits.

A witch costume for girls and a vampire costume for boys.

The player is given three choices:

  • Ask Robin to try on the girl's witch costume
  • Ask Robin to try on the boy's vampire costume
  • Walk home

Girl's Witch Costume

There are two variants for this scene, depending if Robin is male or female. This scene in particular is geared towards a female Robin.

The player hands Robin the witch costume, telling them they should try it on. The player gives Robin some privacy as they dress. After a minute passes, Robin states they are ready but does not wait for the player's response as they step out from the screen. They are still adjusting their witch hat. It's noted that the costume is tight around their waist, and shows off their feminine contours - it fits well.

At this point, the player has two options:

  • Tease
  • Compliment

Teasing Robin will cause the player to flirt with Robin a bit, making a remark that Robin makes a "cute witch" before laughing and saying it suits them. Robin smiles, turning back to mirror as they swish the witch skirt around. Complimenting Robin will cause the same result, but they call Robin a "scary witch" instead.

Boy's Vampire Costume

There are two variants for this scene, depending if Robin is male or female. This scene in particular is geared towards a male Robin.

The player hands Robin the vampire costume, telling them they should try it on. The player gives Robin some privacy as they dress. After a minute passes, Robin states they are ready but does not wait for the player's response as they step out from the screen. They are still adjusting their vampire collar. It fits well.

At this point, the player has two options:

  • Tease
  • Compliment

Teasing Robin will cause the player to flirt with Robin a bit, making a remark that Robin makes a "handsome vampire" before laughing and saying it suits them. Robin smiles, turning back to mirror as they strike a menacing pose. Complimenting Robin will cause the same result, but they call Robin a "scary vampire" instead.

Crossdressing Robin

If the player picks out an outfit that is tailored towards the opposite gender of Robin, the player has the chance of making Robin crossdress. When asked to try on the outfit, Robin will respond by exclaiming it's for boys/girls based on their sex.

The player responds to this by saying Robin is only dressing up for fun. They hesitate a bit before shaking their head, remarking that while it's a "really cool" outfit, they'd be too embarrassed to wear it.

In order to get Robin to wear it, the player needs to have 60% love or more for Robin's love stat. After which, the scene will change. Robin will once again state the costume is for the opposite sex, but takes the outfit regardless. They say to the player that they should promise they won't laugh, before stepping out. It surprisingly fits well.

At this point, the player has two options:

  • Tease
  • Compliment

Teasing Robin will once again cause the player to flirt with Robin, remarking that they make a handsome boy/cute girl depending on their gender. Robin says they in fact do not, all the while blushing yet smiling at the same time. Complimenting Robin will cause the same result as when they are wearing the appropriate clothing. Robin will then turn back to the mirror.

Costume Buying

The player has the option to buy the costume for Robin, should they have the right amount of money required (£80) to buy it in the first place. Buying the costume for Robin gives a big boost to their Love stat. The player announces their purchase, stating that Robin needs a proper costume for Halloween (not just the bed sheet)

Robin says it is not fair on the player, but the player responds by saying it is a gift. The player asks if Robin likes the outfit, with Robin agreeing in response while looking at the mirror. They say it would be nice to have a proper costume. Robin will once again disappear behind a screen, dressing back into the clothing they came into the shop with. With their business in the shop complete, the player purchases the outfit for £80 from Gwylan. The pair walk back to the Orphanage, with Robin feeling excited.

Walk Home

The player bids Gwylan farewell before walking back with Robin back to the orphanage. Robin is noticeably excited the whole way, telling the player how cool the Halloween costumes are. At this point the player can return with Robin back to the Forest Shop to try out the costumes again.

If the player doesn't pick out a costume for Robin to wear, on the day of Halloween, Robin will be stuck with their bed sheet ghost default costume.

Trick-or-Treating

Robin will be trick-or-treating on the 31 October in the orphanage hall from 16:00 to 19:00. This event takes 3 hours, meaning it is possible to go with Whitney afterwards. Note that this counts as a date if Robin is in love with the player.

If the player previously went costume shopping with Robin, they will be wearing the costume they bought for them. Robin will comment on the player's costume, saying that it is "cute." Note that full transformations also count as a costume, and will have Robin mistake it for one by calling it "authentic."

Robin will be especially excited if the player is wearing the same costume. If the player is not wearing a costume, Robin will say the player needs one too, or it will not be proper, meaning the player won't be able to take part in the event without a costume/transformation. However, they have the option of simply throwing one together should they not have one.

The player can go trick or treating with any clothes that have the "Costume" trait, however Robin will have unique dialogue on specific outfits. These are the vampire and witch outfits from Gwylan's shop, the nun dress and maid dress outfits from the clothing store - with Robin commenting on the nun outfit by saying that "nuns are scary.". The nun costume will also have an extra bit of dialog if the player has the Angel or Fallen Angel transformations.

The player, Robin and orphans leave the orphanage with empty bags. They will be happy if both Robin and the player are crossdressing, saying that it would be strange if Robin was the only one. Everyone starts ringing doorbells on houses, most are accommodating. Robin convinces the orphans not to eat the candy right away and to wait until they get back (+ Hope).

Then the group comes to a brightly-lit house covered in extravagant decorations. The person smirks when looking at the player and gives them and Robin a treat, but does not give anything to the orphans, stating that their costumes aren't good enough. They then whisper to the player: "Maybe you could convince me otherwise. In private. You don't want to disappoint your friends, do you?". The player may Accept - Give oral (Promiscuity 3) or Refuse (- Hope).

Satisfying the person leads to everyone getting sweets (+ Hope). Alternatively, the player can beat them up and take the sweets (+ Hope). Should they fail to please the man or call for help, this will however fail (- Hope). In particular, if the player screams, Robin will come to their rescue.

The next house will be playing loud music. The person who answers the door will keep looking at Robin as they hand out sweets. After a moment when the player is distracted, they notice the person standing awfully close to Robin, asking "Why don't we go somewhere private?" This makes Robin embarrassed. If the player is in a relationship with Robin, they may propose a threesome (Promiscuity 3) or slap the person (- Dominance | + Love). Additionally, they can always Pull Robin away (+ Love) or Ignore it.

Proposing a threesome can have multiple effects. If Robin's confidence is maxed out or if the player's seduction skill is not high enough, they will shake their head. The person will try to force themselves onto Robin, but the player will not allow it. Otherwise, if the player's seduction is high enough, Robin will nod and engage in a threesome on a bed in the house. Note that Robin will interrupt if the enemy anger raises too much or if it becomes non-consensual. Slapping the person leads to the player pushing them into the house. In front of Robin and the orphans, they can then justify their actions (- Hope | + Rebelliousness) or apologise (+ Stress). Pulling Robin away will not be easy, but will eventually succeed. Ignoring it will lead to the person growing bolder. If Robin is crossdressing, the person will be surprised and angry and kick them out. If not, robin will recoil and hide behind the player's back.

After this, everyone returns to the orphanage with bags full of sweets (+ Hope). Robin will inform everyone to keep it a secret from Bailey, as they are not home. Robin will thank the player for coming. If the player is in a relationship with Robin, they can Kiss them (+ Love), which begins a consensual encounter. Otherwise, they can Hug (0:05, + Love | - Stress | - Trauma) or Talk (0:05, + Love | - Stress | - Trauma). Either way, the player will swap sweets with Robin, ending the event.

Rewards

  • A successful night with Robin and the orphans.
  • The first of the Halloween "dates" completed.

Trivia

  • This event is the only way to have a threesome with Robin (or any Love Interest, for that matter). Requires low Confidence.
  • This event was the first Halloween event to be introduced.
