Transformations are several gameplay-enhancing effects bestowed onto the player upon meeting specific requirements. They possess both beneficial and non-beneficial effects. There are eight unique transformations to acquire.
If aiming for a specific transformation and/or maintaining one, collars will come in handy when trying to maintain a specific transformation. By wearing one, other transformations will not attempt to interfere with the player's current one they are aiming for.
Prerequisites
Transformations must be enabled in the settings. This toggle differs from the others by having two checkboxes instead of one.
There are two possible transformation settings that can be enabled:
- Animal
- Divine
Description
Transformations will progress over time, requiring a long time to not only acquire but also maintain. They have the ability to alter the player's appearance and enhance gameplay, grant at least one trait, and grant a boost to both Attractiveness and/or Allure.

Transformation Progress
Manifestation will advice by one point at midnight. Meaning that once the player passes a certain point threshold (in most cases every 5 points), the player's transformation will advance by one "Manifestation", either making progress towards or gaining a trait from their transformation.
In all stages of beast transformations, progress will degrade by one point everyday at midnight, enabling the player to return to normal so long as they don't gain more points. The player will also lose points whenever they gain points in another transformation. For example, if has 10 points in Bovinity and gains 1 point in Cattiness, they will have 9 points in Bovinity and 1 in Cattiness. In the event that the player drops below the required amount of points for a Manifestation, they will also lose that Manifestation. In the same example, the player has lost the 10 points needed to have 2 Cow manifestation. In this case, the player would lose the Sturdy Horns trait until they go back up to 10 Bovinity points.
In divine transformations, progress will only be gained or lost depending on the player's Purity. For example, if a player has less than 1000 Purity (7/7 Purity), then they will lose a point in Angelicness. It should be noted that the player also either needs to have the Virgin trait or the Rite of Promise: Sydney trait (and only have vaginal/penile sex with Sydney) in order to gain a point in Angelicness. If the player is missing this trait, they can never gain the Angel transformation. If a player has more than 0 Purity (0/7 Purity), then they'll lose a point in Demonicness. If a player has less than 900 Purity (6/7 Purity), then they won't gain a point in Fallen. If the player fails to have the required Purity, then they will lose a point in their transformation. In addition, Demon players will take a massive Stress penalty.
To maintain their transformation, the player can either perform the same actions that led to the player transforming in the first place or (only possible with animal transformations) by preventing transformation decay entirely by wearing an accessory tied to each transformation. As stated, it prevents all decay. Meaning, going back to the previous example, if the player gains 1 point in Cattiness while they are wearing the accessory to protect the cow transformation, the player will not lose a point in Bovinity, leaving them with 10 points in Bovinity and 1 point in Cattiness.
For more information, see the "Transformation Items" section below.
Progress points are uncapped, meaning the player can accumulate as many points as they wish. However, the transformation with the most points will take priority over others with lower points. The transformation that came first also has higher priority. Continuing the example above, if a player has 10 Bovinity first then gains 10 Cattiness, the player will never gain any Cat manifestations until they get rid of all of their Cow manifestations even if the player's Cattiness begins to overtake their Bovinity. Do note this only counts within transformations of the same type. Gaining a point in Angelicness will not remove Bovinity points because Angel is a Divine Transformation while Cow is a Beast Transformation.
Transformation Items
In some cases, transformation decay may become a huge hinderance due to how hard it is to gain points back. To help circumvent this, the player can wear an accessory dedicated to their own transformation. Do note that only beast transformations have this. Divine transformations have no such safeguard.
These are the cat bell collar, cow bell, spiked collar, feathered hair clip, and spirit mask for the cat, cow, wolf, harpy, and fox transformations, respectively. These are purchasable at the clothing stores, such as on the second floor of the Shopping Centre or the Forest Shop. The cow bell can also be obtained from the Underground Farm.
Note that wearing the item will only matter at midnight if the player is wearing it to prevent daily decay.

Combining Transformations
The two transformation categories are mutually exclusive. A transformation can be pulled from one category, and can be combined with another transformation from the other category. It is theoretically possible to make combinations of a wolf transformation and an angel transformation, or a cat transformation and demon transformation, for instance.
Combining these transformations will receive both perks of that particular transformation, including it's effects and specific traits. Combining the cow and demon transformation will combine the Sturdy Horns and Dark Horns traits into the Compound Horns trait, providing the benefits of both.
However, it is not possible to combine transformations if they share the same category - an angel transformation and demon transformation is not possible, meaning the categorized transformations are exclusive with one another.
All possible transformation combinations can be seen on the image below.
Transformations Visually Stacking
A table for viewing which transformations "stack" is listed below. Only animal TFs and/or divine TFs may be active at a time, animal TFs cannot be stacked with each other - wolf/cat/harpy/cow cannot be combined with another animal TF from that same list - and vice versa with divine TFs - angel/fallen angel/demon cannot be combined with another divine TF from that same list. As of Version 0.3.10, some stackable transformations can become Chimera parts. These parts appear as a new part visually different from either of the parts they come from.

Trivia
- Transformations were initially designed to be hidden "easter eggs" upon meeting specific requirements, and served for cosmetic purposes only. This has been expanded to incorporate them into the game properly, providing scenes and mechanics unique to transformations.
- Transformations are officially stated by the developers as well as intentionally designed to be ambiguous as to whether or not they are real.
- This is exemplified by transformations originally being locked behind hallucinations.
- However, there are implications on transformations potentially being real. Certain NPCs will react to the player's transformation such as Robin and River. However, this is intentionally left up to user interpretation on whether or not these occurrences are real. There are both sides to the argument, with each providing counter-points to each other.
- However, a counter-point to this is that the player could have attached a headband onto themselves without knowing. River will call any head stage (i.e. halo/horns/ears) a "silly headband", and will attempt to pull it off. Letting them do so will add +Pain. The player has the option of biting River's fingers in response by usingg their fangs, which will draw blood and have River recoil back in pain.
- Robin will call the player a "good kitty" in their bedroom when the player receives headpats from them as a cat. Additionally, they can also moo for attention if they are a cow. Robin may also have additional dialogue during Halloween, mistaking any transformations as a costume by calling it "authentic." However, it makes it clear that Robin can in fact see the effects of the transformation - such as wings, and a tail. They will make further comments if they are dressed in a nun costume as an Angel, or Fallen Angel.
- Akin to Robin, Whitney will also comment on the "costume" the player is wearing during Halloween - which in this case would be the transformation. They humorously comment on certain things, such as how the player gets their halo to stay up or how does their tail stay in place. Whitney will take a liking to the demon transformation themselves - and will be later revealed to be dressed like the transformation's in-game appearance during Kylar's Halloween event.
- NPCs at the Temple will mistake the player for an angel/demon should they possess the transformation - stating they look just like one! If the player has the angel transformation, they will ask the player for blessings with them, with one girl asking for the player's "angel magic." If the player has the demon transformation, they will act hostile towards the player, thinking them to be unholy.
- With the "Wings" trait, obtained with transformations that possess wings, the player can glide from high places.
- The player is able to learn to fly from the Great Hawk, but it is limited to areas where the "wind is willing" such as the moor.
- Should the transformations be real, it would reveal that the player has traded in their humanity for them.
- If the player is shy about revealing clothing or is currently in an "exposed" state, should they possess a "Divine" transformation, they may automatically attempt to cover themselves up by using their wings. Animal transformations do not have this quirk. However, this works identically to when the player does the same with their hands.
- The Demon transformation however has the additional effect of the tail being used to cover up the genitalia, somewhat. However, it may also point towards the use of the genitalia instead. An image of how it looks in-game can be found on the respective pages.
- Prior to Version 0.2.10, combining transformations was not possible.
