Version 0.2.5

0.2.5.0 was released on 1st November, 2019. This update adds new scenes with Robin and Whitney involving Halloween. It also includes new clothes, more flavour during encounters, and adds gloryholes to the brothel.

It saw three further hotfixes, which fixes some nasty bugs (0.2.5.1) and further bugs (0.2.5.2) as well as fixing more bugs and named NPC genitals.

Developer's Note

"Writing the Robin and Whitney scenes was entertaining. I wanted them to interact more, but merging their arcs with everything else going on proved challenging. It's still on the cards, but I need to rethink how to approach it.

I wasn't sure how far regular encounters would need to change to work with gloryholes. It wasn't so bad. There's lots of room for flavour and mechanics that aren't yet explored. There are a few locations in the game that could do with some dodgy holes."

New Additions

• Events where the player can now take Robin shopping for Halloween costumes.
• Events where Robin and Whitney can go trick-or-treating on the 31st of October.
• A witch dress/hat, vampire jacket, loincloth and slut shirt was added to the Forest Shop. Available from the 21st of October.

• The moon now impacts gameplay, becoming a full moon on the last day of each month. This increases Allure by tenfold.
• Spiders are now a toggle, and can be disabled in settings.
• Gloryholes available at the brothel. Requires Promiscuity 4. Gloryholes serviced stat added to the Statistics page.

Patch Notes

• Added gloryholes to the brothel. Pay is unaffected by the usual modifiers such as attractiveness and maths skill. Some days pay more than others, ranging from £5 to £30 a pop. Requires Promiscuity 4.

Balance Changes

• Eden will now only begin to gain lust over time after meeting them for the first time.
• The water-selling shop keeper now trusts you less when selling your body in exchange for water.
• Masochism now increases more slowly the higher it is.
• Slightly reduced the effectiveness of masochism at reducing pain.
• Asking NPCs to stop can no longer improve the seduction skill in soft mode.

• Fixed a bug that could cause a blank screen when approaching the parent on the beach.

• The time of Avery's date in the journal will no longer be shown in military format regardless of settings.
• Fixed a bug that caused being strangled by a right hand to cause suffocation a turn earlier than intended.
• Fixed a bug causing Robin to put the "Out selling lemonade!" sign on their door even when high trauma is preventing them from showing up at the beach.
• Sirris should no longer materialise as a rapist following science class.
• The swarm encounter in science class should no longer be considered to take place in town, rather than the school. The audience should also be correctly be described as boys and girls, rather than men and women.
• Fixed a bug causing a message reading "You don't resist the force binding your arms" despite not being bound.

• Denim shorts will no longer be known as "Demim" shorts in some locations.

Trivia

• This is the first update to center around a national holiday, specifically Halloween.
• This update was slightly delayed to November 1st, 2019 - from it's original ETA date of October 31st, the same day as Halloween.
