Felines are one of many types of beast encounters within Degrees of Lewdity. This includes common cats and untamed wildcats.

Description

Being a common household pet, cats may dwell in the homes of the town's residents, though the player is more likely to find strays in the town's alleyways. Their wild counterparts hunt in the outskirts of town, namely in the Moor.

Regular cats and wildcats behave identically in-game, with the only difference being where the player can find them.

Having sex with felines will not speed up the player's progress towards the Cat Transformation.

Locations

Similarly to dogs, both stray and domestic cats are found in various locations across town. Wildcats, on the other hand, are exclusive to the Moor.

Cats

The player can encounter cats in the following locations:

  • If the player possesses the full Cat Transformation, they have the option to meow in the Residential Alleyways at night, possibly attracting a small cat, or a larger one.
    • In the first case, the player will hear a meow as the small cat approaches. They can proceed to pet (- Stress) or tease (Deviancy 1) the cat. Neither option will lead to any sort of encounter.
    • In the latter, the player hears a growl, and turns to find a large cat prowling in the dark. Once again, they can pet (+ Stress | - Trauma) or tease it (Deviancy 1). If the player chooses to tease, they'll be given the further option to seduce it (Deviancy 2, does not involve the Seduction stat), leading to a consensual sex scene.
  • When robbing homes on Danube Street, the player can be caught by the owner's cat. The player is prompted to either fight or run. Running initiates an Athletics check, failing which leads to a nonconsensual encounter, as does choosing to fight. The player can also try to calm it (Deviancy 2), leading to consensual sex.
    • If the player possesses the full Cat Transformation, they can also meow at the housecat, causing it to ease up and let the player leave without a fight.
  • When masturbating while basking in the sun in the Orphanage garden, there's a chance for a cat to interrupt the player's relaxation. The player can pet it (- Trauma | - Stress) or spread their legs (- Trauma | - Stress | + Arousal | Deviancy 1), encouraging it to lick the player's genitals.
  • When entering the School toilets after hours, a cat may pounce upon the player, initiating a nonconsensual encounter.
    • If the player possesses the full Cat Transformation, they may choose to hiss at the cat, making it back away without molesting the player.

Wildcats

As stated above, currently the player can only encounter wildcats in the Moor, during a select few events.

  • Past a certain point in the moor (indicated by a sign reading "D—ger. W—d ani-a-s."), the player's journey will be marred by the occasional wildcat encounter.
  • As the player passes by a string of cracks and caves, they feel a sense of unease, as if watched. Choosing to continue without taking a detour may result in the player being ambushed by a trio of wildcats. They'll attempt to rip the player's bottoms to shreds before molesting them.
    • The player can attempt to soothe the beasts, requiring a moderate Tending skill - a C+ is needed just for a chance to succeed. If successful, the player calms the cats with a soothing melody, and they allow the player to leave unmolested. Failing results in the cats assaulting the player anyway.
    • The player can also submit or fight, both leading to a nonconsensual encounter, though choosing to fight will reduce the beast's health at the start of the encounter, at the cost of making it slightly angrier.

Trivia

  • Although cats and wildcats use the same sprites in-game, the files show a unique sprite for wild cat-people specifically, giving them a mangier appearance. See the Monsters page for an image of how the sprite looks.
