Canines are one of many types of beast encounters within Degrees of Lewdity. This includes dogs and wolves.

Description

Dogs are the most common type of beast the player may encounter, especially if they don't venture far from town. Wolves are comparatively less common, though their presence is still nigh-unavoidable in the local wilderness.

Wolves are capable of progressing the Wolf Transformation when the player has sex with them. See the transformation's page for more details.

As Monsters

When set as monster-people, canines possess the same traits as other types of monsters, gaining the ability to speak and perform other humanlike actions. They do, however, retain their knotted penises.

Wolfpeople in particular are among the more distinct monster-people, being the only type of monster to have their own unique combat dialogue. They speak in broken English and possess a tribal mentality, referring to the player as "pack-brother/sister" should they join the wolves' clan.

Knotting

 This will not work with other animals/beasts.

When penetrating the player, canines have the unique ability to "knot" the player. In certain situations, the beast will end up stuck inside the player, leading to unique scenes. This has a 20% chance of occurring with regular dogs/dog-people, and a 40% chance of occurring with wolves/wolf-people.

To trigger it, the player must have male canines active (or have it possess a penis as it's genitalia). They must then penetrate the player during combat, then have finally have the canine orgasm inside and subsequently "knot" the player. Triggering a knot causes the player to remain in a helpless state, unable to break free. The beast's penis will be stuck inside the player, leading to a humiliating scene for the player where they must remain there until the beast is able to unlock itself once more.

There are two special events tied to knotting, these are

  • Having it occur while working at Alex's Farm. People are nearby, the full deviant scene on display. Alex will even comment on this.
  • When the player is attacked by a dog while sneaking around the docks. The player is then at the mercy of the guards that catch the player trespassing the facility.

A stat in the Statistics menu tracks how many times knotting has happened to the player.

Locations

Dogs can be found all throughout town, both as strays and under the ownership of other NPCs. Wolves are exclusively situated in the Forest on the outskirts of town and its surrounding areas, such as the aptly named Wolf Street.

Dogs

The player can encounter dogs in the following locations:

  • In the streets:
    • When walking the streets, a dog may approach the player, attempting to lead them into an alleyway. This typically results in the player finding a wallet containing either £5, £100, or nothing at all. The player can either pet the hound (- Trauma | - Stress) or reward it (Deviancy 2, begins a consensual encounter).
      • These is maximum 3% chance (vary by stray dogs' happiness) the player will be surround by monster dogs.
    • At night, the player's journey along the streets may suddenly be interrupted by a trio of dogs. This event also has a very low chance of occurring should the player follow a dog into an alley - see above.
    • When exposed at night, the player can run into a shaggy black dog. The player can run (Athletics, a B or higher will guarantee success) or try to befriend it. Failing to escape or choosing the second option leads to a nonconsensual encounter.
    • When walking the streets at night, if the player is wearing a collar, they may be harassed by a couple looking for a "bitch" for their pet. Both complying and refusing their request will lead to a nonconsensual encounter with the dog.
    • Several scenes involving dogs can play out when the player is streaking across town.
      • When crossing the Residential Alleyways while exposed, they may come across a dog. The dog begins barking, alerting a pair of youths to the player's presence. In order to avoid being found, the player will be forced to sexually satisfy the beast, or subdue it with violence.
      • When sneaking through the Park, the player may suddenly hear a growl beside them. They can run, allowing them to escape at the risk of being noticed by others, or stay put, initiating a nonconsensual encounter.
      • When crossing High Street whilst covered in cream, a dog may chase after the player, eager to lick the cream off their body. The player can try soothing it (requires a Tending skill of S to ensure success) or run. Running or failing to soothe the dog will heavily deplete the amount of cream on the player's body.
      • If the player runs out of cream when crossing High Street, a number of dogs will begin assaulting the player, licking the remaining cream off of them. Choosing to endure (+ + + Arousal | + Trauma | + Stress) eventually allows the player to escape, though not without their dignity tarnished. Trying to stand has a 50/50 chance of letting the player get away, or forcing them to endure a nonconsensual encounter with several dogs.
  • On Domus Street:
    • When knocking on doors on Domus Street, the player may be interrupted by a dog chained to a kennel. Teasing the dog (Deviancy 1) may lead to its chain breaking, initiating a nonconsensual encounter.
    • In a similar event to the one listed above, the player can find an unchained dog in a kennel. The player can either pet it or run from it, with both options running the risk of triggering a nonconsensual encounter.
    • When doing life-modelling work as part of a random event on Domus Street, the player may be forced into a nonconsensual encounter with a dog to evoke an "authentic" sense of abuse.
    • When breaking into a house on Domus Street, a guard dog may interfere with the player's skulduggery. If the player's Deviancy is at least 2, they can attempt to calm the beast, leading to a consensual encounter.
  • At School:
    • When tasked by Doren to deliver a note to the school's outbuilding, a dog may assault the player.
    • When trespassing on the school grounds after hours, the player can run into a dog at the playgrounds.
    • When dragged along by Whitney to fetch boxes of cigarettes, the player can end up stuck in a wall, leaving them vulnerable to an attack from a dog. If the player is in a relationship with Whitney, they'll rescue the player.
  • At the Beach:
    • A dog may bite at the player's clothing, damaging and potentially ruining them in the process.
    • When passing out at the beach, the player may wake up naked and at the mercy of a couple of teenagers. Going along with their demands may result in them letting a dog molest the player.
  • At Alex's Farm:
    • Alex's Farm houses a kennel of hounds. They'll help the player corral the cattle in the evenings and fend off Remy's goons, but they may also attempt to molest the player, especially with low Respect.
    • When feeding the dogs, there's a chance one will begin humping the player. The player can endure (- Respect | + Trauma | + Stress), scold (requires high Tending, at least an A will ensure success), or drop to their knees (Deviancy 2, initiates consensual sex).
      • At incredibly low Respect, the dog may forgo humping an opt to just rape the player.
      • Getting knotted during an encounter with one of Alex's dogs (consensual or not) will lead to a scene in which Alex and a client stumble upon the player.
    • When releasing the chickens from their coop in the morning, they may hold the player in place, allowing a dog to molest them.
  • Other locations:
    • A trio of dogs will appear to molest the player at the end of Bailey's first punishment.
    • When tending a garden for a resident of Danube Street, the owner's dog may attempt to molest the player.
    • One of the random events at the Pillory involves a dog molesting the player.
    • After passing out at the park, the player may awaken to find themselves being dragged behind a bush by a dog, initiating a nonconsensual encounter.
    • A dog may attack the player when they're taking out the trash while working at the Cafe.
    • At the Brothel, Leighton can bring a dog to molest the player as a consequence of the player's blackmail attempt.
    • The player will be chased by a dog during a "hunt" at the Underground Brothel.
    • Guard dogs patrol the premises of the Elk Street Compound, the Elk Street Landfill, and the Docks (the latter [[Docks Infiltration|only at night).
    • One of Harper's "treatments" at the Asylum includes subjecting the player to hypnosis and allowing a dog to have its way with them. The player can resist or present themselves to the dog, the latter option leading to a consensual encounter.

Other interactions with dogs that don't involve lewd encounters:

  • The player can meet a random pedestrian on the street walking their dog. The player can pet the dog (- Stress) or ask for its paw (initiates a Tending check; D+ or higher will guarantee success). Succeeding the Tending check has the player shake the dog's paw (- - Stress), taking the player's handholding [Virginities|virginity] if present. Failing simply has the dog and its owner continue on their way.
    • If the player possesses the full Wolf Transformation, they have the additional option to growl at the dog (- Stress). The owner will scold the player for scaring it, giving the player the opportunity to growl at the owner as well (+ Defiance). Unsettled, the owner backs away from the player.
    • If the player possesses the full Cat Transformation, they can also hiss at the dog (+ Defiance). The owner gives the player a confused look before leaving.
  • At the Orphanage, an orphan may bring a lost dog home as part of a random event. Note that this dog will always be a dog, with no chance of it being a dogperson.
  • The player may be accosted by a dog when going for a walk in the park with Eden. Eden will step in before it gets too close to the player.

Wolves

The player can encounter wolves in the following locations:

  • In the Forest:
    • Many wolves stalk the forest on the outskirts of town. Running afoul of them will lead to a nonconsensual encounter. In the deeper parts of the forest, the player will be assaulted by two wolves at once.
    • Deep in the forest lies the Wolf Cave, where a whole pack of wolves reside. Chief among their ranks is the monstrous Black Wolf.
    • The player may catch a pair of glowing eyes peering at them in the forest (+ Stress). With Deviancy 2, the player can adopt a mating posture, initiating consensual sex.
      • In the deeper parts of the forest, the player will notice two pairs of eyes instead. In this case, Deviancy 3 is required to have sex with the two wolves.
      • If the player possesses the full Wolf transformation, they have the option to howl at the wolves (- Stress | - Trauma). After howling, if the player has the Stockholm Syndrome: Wolves trait, they can then pat the wolves and depart (- Stress | - Trauma) or mate with them (requires Deviancy 2 or 3, depending on the amount of wolves).
      • If the player has an ear slime embedded in them, if may force the player to drop to all fours, initiating an encounter. If the player has high Submissiveness and Deviancy 4, they can willingly submit to the slime, greatly reducing Stress and Trauma.
    • When accompanying a group of students to the Forest Lake after school, a wolf may show up. The player can run away with their peers (+ Stress) or deal with it (Deviancy 2), initiating consensual sex.
    • A wolf may attack the player if they choose to accompany Eden on a hunt.
  • Other locations:
    • The player may be assaulted by a wolf while working the Temple garden.
    • When the player is drugged by a member of the Temple while working in the garden, they may end up in the forest, where a wolf will appear. If the player possesses the Stockholm Syndrome: Wolves trait, it will undo the player's bindings. Otherwise, it will attempt to rape the player.
    • When the player passes out at the Hospital, there's a chance they'll awaken in a grimy room full of cages. Depending on the player's choices, they may end up having to fend off up to six wolves.
    • When bound and blindfolded while wandering street, the player may run into a wolf or two. This leads to a nonconsensual encounter, unless the player possesses the Stockholm Syndrome: Wolves trait, in which case they'll undo the players binds and let them go (- - - Stress).

Other interactions with wolves that don't involve lewd encounters:

  • When wandering in the forest during winter, a wolf may emerge from a snow bank, stopping to regard the player before running into the trees (- Stress). If the wolf is a monster-person, they will advise the player against staying out in the cold. "Cold days, not for humans. Run home," he/she says as he/she shakes off the snow. He/She bares his/her fangs at you playfully, before bounding off into the trees.
    • If the player possesses the Stockholm Syndrome: Wolves trait, they'll recognize the wolf as a member of the pack. It approaches the player and nuzzles them before leaving. | - - Stress

An unlockable feat is tied to canines:

This requires the player to have a male canine (or have it possess a penis as it's genitalia) on Alex's farm penetrate the player during combat, then have finally have the canine orgasm inside and knot the player.

Please note that this will not work with other animals/beasts, and only canines have the ability to "knot" - a 20% chance to do so after combat ends, and they orgasm.

Trivia

  • Dogs are the only type of beast that can take the player's handholding virginity. The Great Hawk can as well, but only when set as a monster-person.
